Trainee Accountant (Solihull Office)

Full-time, Permanent Position - 37 hours per week
Location: Head Office - Solihull

We are looking for talented individuals to join our forward thinking and growing firm of accountants.

Job Summary

Your main duties will be to support our accounting team by assisting with:

  • the preparation of statutory accounts
  • the preparation of management accounts
  • the preparation of year end financial statements / accounts
  • the preparation of VAT returns
  • book-keeping
  • maintaining accounts records
  • administration

Qualities

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a strong academic background with good numerical and computer skills
  • Have at least 3 A-levels (to include mathematics at grade B or above) or equivalent
  • Be articulate with good communication skills
  • Have a positive attitude to learning
  • Have a desire to progress
