Security Update: Changes to our client portal
With a sudden move to remote working, we have seen a significant rise in cybercrime activity over recent months. At Jerroms we take information security very seriously and urge everyone to be vigilant against this threat.
Now more than ever we are committed to ensuring confidential information is protected and, as a result, we have made the decision to upgrade our client portal 'OneClick' to incorporate Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?
You may have already heard of MFA - this is a highly effective way of increasing security during a log in procedure.
In addition to a username and password, you will also need to enter a verification code which will be sent to you separately as an additional level of security - just so we can verify that it is you before you can access your account.
Protecting your account: what does this mean for you?
All our OneClick users will receive an email over the next few days asking you to upgrade your account. To do this, you will need to click on the link in the email which will take you through the MFA set-up process. The email will also contain helpful videos which you can watch beforehand to assist you with the upgrade process.
Logging into an upgraded account
To ensure your account is secure, going forward each time you log into OneClick you will receive a verification code sent to your preferred set-up choice. You will then need to input this code during the log in process to be able to access your account.
We are here to help...
If you are struggling to complete the MFA set-up process, please get in touch with your usual Jerroms contact on 0121 693 5000 (Solihull Office) or 01527 833124 (Bromsgrove Office) for further assistance.
